Sunday Report (9.19.10) - Championship Race:
Team Enterprise Automation/Malcolm-Racing roller coaster ride continued on Sunday at the 2010 NASA National Championships
at Miller Motorsports Park, in Tooele, UT. Based on the two qualifying races, the team qualified 8th in class, Performance
Touring (PTD). As the green flag flew to kick off the start of the race, driver Derrick Malcolm moved into sixth place as the
field entered turn 1. Four turns later the team moved into fifth place while making a pass going into 'black rock hairpin'
(turn 5). Malcolm moved into fourth place later in the opening lap with a pass going through 'club house corner' (turn 21).
After a smooth 'wind up' (turn 22) and 'release' (turn 23), Malcolm moved into third place just before crossing the start/
finish line to complete lap #1. So in one lap, Malcolm piloted the Team Enterprise Automation/Malcolm-Racing Nissan Sentra
SE-R from eighth to third place. After a few more laps, the team was within reach of second place. Malcolm got a few looks at
trying to make a pass on second but couldn't make anything stick. Lapped traffic {read

Sunday Report (9.13.09) - Championship Race:
Team Enterprise Automation/Malcolm-Racing earn a podium position by finishing 3rd in Performance Touring (PTD) at the
2009 NASA National Championships at Miller Motorsports Park, in Tooele, UT. Based on the two qualifying races, the team
qualified 4th in class. At the start of the race, driver Derrick Malcolm fell behind an out of class car which took
few laps to get around. This left a gap to the the top three in class. The team was helped out by a full course yellow
which brought the field back together. When green flag racing continued, Malcolm was back within reach of class
competition. After a few more laps, the team passed several out of class and moved into third place with second place
just in front. With two laps to go, Malcolm was right on the bumper of the second place 240sx. This is how it would
finish, with Malcolm unable to make the pass for 2nd. The championship podium consisted of the Team Enterprise
Automation/Malcolm-Racing Nissan Sentra SE-R in 3rd, the Nissan #12 240sx 2nd, and the #55 Mothers/MazdaSpeed Mazda RX8

Saturday Report (6.27.09):
Team Enterprise Automation/Malcolm-Racing brought home their first win of 2009, in Performance Touring - PTD, on
Saturday at the June NASA event at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, in Buttonwillow, CA. In qualifying, driver Derrick
Malcolm turned in a lap of 2:15.4 which qualified the team 1st in class. As the green flag fell on the race, Malcolm got
a great jump on the start. This put the team well into the class lead and past several upper classed cars. Malcolm kept
the Team Enterprise Automation/Malcolm-Racing Nissan Sentra SE-R out of trouble in a particularly eventful race and
posted a fast lap of 2:15.7. In addition to the action on the track the team battled the weather on and off the track
with the temperature peaking at 107 °F.

Saturday Report (4.25.09):
Team Enterprise Automation/Malcolm-Racing finish 3rd in class, Performance Touring - PTD, on Saturday at the April
NASA event at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, in Buttonwillow, CA. In qualifying, driver Derrick Malcolm turned in a lap of
2:09.3 which qualified the team 3rd in class. As the green flag fell on the race, Malcolm got a great jump on the start.
This put the team in reach of the class leaders. Malcolm posted a fast lap of 2:08.8, but this was not enough to keep
pace with the class leader or 2nd place. The team had a comfortable gap for third place and maneuvered through lapped
traffic the rest of the race, with 2nd place within view, but not reach.

Enterprise Automation/Malcolm-Racing Start off 2009 with Two
Podium Finishes at NASA's Auto Club Speedway Event

Saturday Report (3.28.09):
The Team Enterprise Automation/Malcolm-Racing kicked off the 2009 season at Auto Club Speedway, in Fontana, CA.
After only making two race weekends in the 2008 season, both the car and driver, Derrick Malcolm, had to shake off a
little rust early on. In qualifying, Malcolm turned in a fast lap of 1:59.6 placing him 3rd in class, 15th out of 42
cars overall, and 2 tenths faster than last year.
As the green flag dropped on the race, Malcolm fell in line diving into the infield and tried to keep 2nd place
within striking distance. After the first few laps, the gap to second place in class stopped increasing and started to
creep back down. However, nine laps into the race, Malcolm ran into mechanical problems as he tried to shift into 5th
gear on the Auto Club Speedway oval. After a few turns the team realized that the clutch was 'gone' and for the
remainder of the race Malcolm could only shift gears by engine rev matching.

Enterprise Automation/Malcolm-Racing
Finishes First Even with Failing to Finish in Return from Injury
The Team Enterprise Automation/Malcolm-Racing returned to competition after missing most of the season with driver
Derrick Malcolm out after surgery to repair a ruptured disk. Malcolm took the car out for a nice and easy slow paced
warm up in the morning practice. Other than a set of greasy Hankook tires, which had sat for over 6 months since the
last heat cycle, the car was in great shape. The car continued to feel good in qualifying and Malcolm got back into
the groove and turned in a fast lap of 2:05 placing him 1st in class and 16th out of 24 cars overall, finishing ahead
of all slower class cars and a few higher upper tier cars.
As the field lined up and pulled out onto the track for the pace lap the Team Enterprise/Malcolm-Racing race car was
up to 14th after several cars failed to grid on time. As the green flag dropped, Malcolm got a great jump and was
pushing several of the faster class cars ahead for position. Unfortunately the motor let go

Enterprise Automation/Malcolm-Racing Take Home Two Third Place
Finishes in Debut at NASA's California Speedway Event
The Team Enterprise Automation/Malcolm-Racing started off their 2008 season with great weather and a great track
- California Speedway, in Fontana, CA. After the off season, both the car and driver, Derrick Malcolm, got off to a
good start. With the warm up, the team got a feel of the car and broke in a set of new Hankook sticker tires. The car
continued to feel good in qualifying and Malcolm turned in a fast lap of 1:59.8 placing him 3rd in class and 13th out
of 42 cars overall.
The actual start of the race season got off to a slow start as the field was made to complete a second agonizing
pace lap around the 2.8 mile course when the starter was not pleased with the line up of the field. By the second
time around, the green flag was finally dropped and Malcolm got caught hitting the rev limiter in second gear and fell
back six places heading into NASCAR turn 1. But after getting back up to speed by the
